What does fire do?

Fire will lead us and show us the way

Exodus 13:21-22 (NIV)
By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. [22] Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people.

Fire spurs us to evangelism

Fire can change our path in life forever

Exodus 3:2 (NIV)
There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up.

Fire Refines and Proves what you got

1 Peter 1:7 (NIV)
These have come so that your faith--of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire--may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.




Fire Test what you have and the quality of what you have

1 Cor. 3:13 (NIV)
his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work.

Fire Consumes Your sacrifices and brings intimacy with God

2 Chron. 7:1-3 (NIV)
When Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple. [2] The priests could not enter the temple of the Lord because the glory of the Lord filled it. People stay away from the fire of God in order to be able to live their lifestyle the way they want, what they do not realize is when you stay away from the Fire of God you stay away from God because GOD IS FIRE

Hebrews 12:29 (NIV)
for our "God is a consuming fire."

How do we obtain Fire and let it grow?

Spark = Jesus must accept him

Wood = Word of God

Oxygen = Prayer
